On June 16, 2025 Jio experience a frequent network failure in Kerala, causes thousand of customers unable to make calls or access mobile and broadband services.
What Happen
The network issue started around 1:50 PM IST, and soon after, people across Kochi, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram, and Ernakulam began experiencing sudden disruptions. Many users said their phones lost signal all of a sudden—calls weren’t going through, and mobile internet just stopped working.
According to Downdetector, over 12,000 complaints reported in from across the country. Around 60% of the issues were related to mobile data not working, 32% involved call drops, and about 12% of users faced problems with JioFiber. For many in Kerala, especially those working from home or attending online classes, the sudden blackout caused real inconvenience.
As of now, Reliance Jio hasn’t shared any official update about what caused the outage or when services will be fully restored. Users are still waiting for clarity.
